This course is ideal for anyone who knows the basics of photography and wants to develop their own style of portrait photography.

The course will cover: lighting your subject, using both available and studio lighting; use of film and digital media; use of different camera formats; choice of location; making the most of light sources; different stylistic approaches and less expensive alternatives to studio-based flash photography. Participants will be shown the lighting set-up of several established 'looks' and have the opportunity to photograph a model and another member of the class.

Gallery of Photography is located in Temple Bar Dublin 2. This course starts on selected dates throughout the year, and runs over four weekday evenings from 7.00pm - 9.30pm and also over four Saturday mornings from 11.30am - 2pm. Advance booking on AllGifts.ie is required.
