O'Mahony's is situated in the centre of Limerick city. Our impressive, architecturally award winning building has over 17,000 sq. ft. of retail space which acts as a major attraction to both the public and the literary fraternity and very often is the location of literary events. Indeed, a broad spectrum of authors have visited O'Mahony's over the years including Frank McCourt, Maeve Binchy, Gay Byrne, Darren Shan, Cora Harrison, Cathy Kelly, Liam Clancy, Marisa Mackle, Jacqueline Wilson, Sheila O'Flanagan, Jack Charlton and Brendan Graham. Author events are held on an ongoing basis.

Over the years, O'Mahony's have expanded to include three other branches: Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ennis, Co. Clare and the University of Limerick. As well as stocking an extensive range of books, all shops stock a diverse selection of products such as: globes, stationery, educational items, and gifts.
