Enjoy the thrill of a flight experience that you will never forget! Taking off from Newcastle Airfield, Co. Wicklow, you will ride in the passenger seat beside an experienced pilot in one of SkyWest’s twin-seat Robin aircraft.
You will soar high above Wicklow mountains and coast, getting spectacular views of scenery and landmarks from a totally new perspective (exact flight path depends on weather/air traffic control on the day). Take your camera with you! Flying Time: 30 minutes (from engine start-up pre-take off to engine shut-down post landing). You must be over 13 years of age to fly. A size restriction of a medium build and 19 stone applies. Price quoted is for 1 person. This experience is weather dependent.
SkyWest flies from Newcastle Airfield, Co. Wicklow (20 kms from Dublin). They operate 7 days a week during daylight hours, subject to weather. Advance booking on AllGifts.ie is required.
The flying school is open 7 days a week, and flying takes place during daylight hours only.
All flying lessons and pleasure flights need to be booked in advance. Weekends are the busiest time, so please try to book at least 2 weeks in advance for Saturday and Sunday flights to avoid disappointment.
Newcastle Airfield is located 20kms south of Dublin on the main Dublin – Wexford road.
• Take any exit for Newcastle from the N11 (Dublin - Wexford road)
• As you come into Newcastle take the Sea Road ( well signposted) for approx. two miles.
• Entrance to the airfield is on the left hand side and is well signposted
